PART 2: PELVIC FLOOR & CORE INTEGRATION IN ALL ACTIVITIES
In this Specialty Series, you build on key concepts and activation techniques learned in Part 1: Building a Resilient Pelvic Floor & Strong Core. By conditioning your pelvic floor progressively with exercise sequences that increase in complexity, you learn to challenge your pelvic floor in all planes of movement and with different stimuli. This series of classes is all about learning how to activate your pelvic floor selectively and as needed for everything you do. All are welcome; however, if this type of training is new to you, we strongly recommend that you do the recordings from our Part 1 series to learn methodical and specific exercises designed to help you zero in on what accurate engagement of the pelvic floor feels like.
What you learn in Part 2
• How to hold deep support through a movement sequence
• How and when to re-establish deep support while moving in different directions or at changing speeds
• How to know when to move without conscious activation of your pelvic floor
• How to move day-to-day with adequate pelvic floor support—lifting, squatting, bending, walking, driving (to name a few)
