Etiquette for Online Classes
1. Our priority is to make your experience online positive, fun and easy. If you need help, please email us. We have a dedicated person to assist with technological issues. Don’t hesitate to get in touch. Every question is important!
Alternately, our group class teachers routinely provide their Body Harmonics email in the Chat area on Zoom. We all love hearing from you so send us your questions and comments.
3. Please arrive for class with at least 10 minutes lead time. Zoom has a waiting room for you and your teacher will admit you to the class from there.
4. We’re committed to making everyone feel welcome in our virtual classes. As such, teachers will admit you into classes as needed. There are random technological glitches beyond everyone’s control, and we will do our utmost to keep disruptions to a minimum.
5. We love to chat with you before and after class so please feel free to unmute yourself before or after the class (please stay muted during the class).
Please ensure that you have been cleared by your medical doctor to partake in online fitness classes such as Body Harmonics Pilates & Movement live or recorded classes. Please note that we record all Body Harmonics live Zoom classes so that they can be made available to you on our website for the month and via Body Harmonics On Demand at a later date. We make our best effort to show only our teachers in these recordings. If you want to ensure that your image is not recorded, please be sure to stay muted during the main part of the class, and use the comments tool to ask questions/comment. (You may also turn off your video setting if you choose on the lower left on most devices.)
Etiquette for In-Person Classes and Appointments

Group class cancellations
If you need to cancel out of a class, please do so at least six (6) hours prior to the class start time, otherwise, regular charges for the class will apply. This can be done by logging into your account or by contacting the Studio of your choice via telephone or email.
Private and semi-private sessions
We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations for all private and semi-private sessions, otherwise, regular charges will apply.

About private and semi-private sessions
Fee ranges reflect teacher expertise, education and tenure, and are per person, per 55-minute session. An attendance and payment schedule will be customized to meet your goals. Please request an appointment online or contact us at the Studio of your choice for more details.
Cancelling or changing classes and teachers
Body Harmonics reserves the right to cancel or suspend classes, combine classes, change teachers or limit enrollment. Classes will be cancelled if there is insufficient enrollment or if the designated teacher cannot be suitably replaced. We will make every effort to notify you of any cancellations or changes no later than three (3) business days prior to the class date. While changes to the printed schedules may not be possible after publication, please check our online schedule as it is updated regularly.
Refunds and transfers
Prior to attending the first class of your pre-purchased package, a full refund will be granted. You may also transfer unused classes to a person of your choice. In the event of a personal injury/illness, please contact us at the relevant Studio via email or telephone.
Bundles of mat and machine classes expire one (1) year from the date of your first class. Unlimited memberships expire one (1) year from the date of your first class. Unlimited single month packages expire 31 days from the date of your first class. Single Drop-In classes do not expire. Drop-In class packages are valid for six (6) months. Intro Packs packages are valid for one (1) year from the date of your first session. Clients may only purchase one each of our 6, 12 and 24 Intro Packs (for a total of 42 sessions at the Intro Pack rate). There is no expiration on Body Harmonics gift certificates.
If you’ve reserved a space in a class and are going to be late please contact us at the relevant Studio via telephone or email, otherwise, your spot will be made available to others after five (5) minutes. Available spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis.
As fragrance sensitivity among the public is on the rise, please limit the use of scented products when visiting our Studios and Clinics.
