Body Harmonics acknowledges that our Toronto locations are on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 signed with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Williams Treaties signed with multiple Mississaugas and Chippewa bands.
This acknowledgement is a small step towards acknowledging and supporting the important work we must all do towards Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. We will update this page as we consult and engage with First Nations, Inuit and Métis people within our community and as we reflect on how we can play a respectful and positive role within the Truth and Reconciliation process.
