In 2016 we were selected as a Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) registered school. To align with their respected third-party certification accreditation requirements, we started issuing diplomas to graduates of our Pilates Comprehensive Track programs instead of certifications as we had previously. There are no changes to the benefits you receive as one of our graduates and CEC requirements to maintain your diploma (previously certification) remain the same. Our Pilates Comprehensive Track (Levels 1-3) is designed to prepare you to sit the exam required to become a Pilates Method Alliance® Certified Pilates Teacher (PMA®-CPT).
When you successfully complete each Level of our Pilates Comprehensive Track you’re entitled and encouraged to promote yourself as a Body Harmonics® Pilates teacher as long as you maintain your status by completing 15 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) every two years. When you stay current you also get to be listed on our online Teacher Finder for free and can take advantage of many other Teacher Benefits. Body Harmonics designations must be used as follows on business cards and in other marketing:

Pilates Level 1: Mat | Body Harmonics® Pilates Mat Teacher |
Pilates Level 2: Reformer | Body Harmonics® Pilates Mat & Reformer Teacher |
Pilates Level 3: Cadillac Chair Springboard & Barrels (CCSB) | Body Harmonics® Pilates Comprehensive Teacher |

The PMA Certified Pilates Teacher credential (PMA®-CPT) was created through consultation with a wide range of Pilates experts across the field, under the direction of professional psychometricians, and it serves the Pilates community and the public by validating that a Pilates teacher meets entry level standards for safety and competency.
