Welcome to the best of you
In 1998, Body Harmonics’ doors opened. Pilates had gained respect in the medical and athletic fields. The media hype of “do Pilates to get great abs,” meant people of all ages and abilities were trying it. What I wanted was to make Pilates and movement part of a regular week, for life. I knew the experience of a finely tuned, integrated body, built strong from the inside out, would energize. And, I wanted to make the science of movement accessible and engaging.
The challenge of course, is that movement is complex. Getting and staying strong takes time and commitment. Making sense of complex concepts is a challenge. And often, the hardest part can be managing expectations. So, my job, whether you’re dealing with a health challenge, aiming to perform at a higher level, wanting to become a teacher or seeking a healthier lifestyle, is to make your experience at Body Harmonics personally relevant and worthwhile.
On behalf of all of us at Body Harmonics, I look forward to welcoming you and making moving well part of your everyday.
