"Gogo" Foundations

Print PDF

"Gogo" is an African word for "grandmother", and we’re using it here because Body Harmonics will donate a portion of the proceeds of this class to the Stephen Lewis Foundation's Grandmothers to Grandmothers campaign. Th e campaign seeks to build solidarity, raise awareness and mobilize support in Canada for African grandmothers caring for some of the 11 million children orphaned by AIDS there. For more information go to www.grandmotherscampaign.org or www.stephenlewisfoundation.org .

This Foundations level mat class will introduce you to the gentle power of Pilates. Exercises at this level are simple, specific and effective; you will learn to master the basics and build a foundation of core strength, balance and flexibility. Grandmothers and grand-others are welcome.
